JoJo D7451

Jo Jo's time was up from a remote crowded shelter. He was very scared when he was a stray on the streets and Animal Control used a catch pole to corner/catch him on 3/3/21. Jo Jo was scared at the shelter at first but with time, he relaxed and now good with staff he knows. Jo Jo comes up to front of cage for treats. Goes out to playyard and is happy. Dogs at this shelter don't get out much due to high numbers of dogs there and not enough staff. He loves to play ball. He needs basic training, was scared of leash at first from cage and would back away but slowly learned he was ok to walk out. Jo Jo can be mouthy to play (no pressure, just happy) and met/sniffed another female dog. Female dog was nervous and walked away, and he left her alone. Treat motivated. During transport pick up, he got skittish and tried to bolt from transporters (a lady and a man), but once shelter staff helped them get him into their crate, he settled and was fine during ride. He seemed nervous of the man. At his experienced foster home, he is now fine walking around and being guided on leash with the men. Taking treats. Still nervous but warming up. He needs basic training, time to heal from his surgery on 3/23/21 and time to feel safe (2-3 weeks). He is in a foster to adoption home so not available unless he does not work out with them. JoJo needs WFH guardian and very experienced adults. No kids. Home with yard. More info. to come as he learns at his hero foster home.

**Note: Adoption in SF Bay Area Only**
