Kowboy D7492

Kowboy was nervous and dirty with burrs in his coat when he arrived at the shelter. At first he was nervous at the shelter and then warmed up, especially when out with other dogs. Once he felt safe he was very sweet, friendly, playful and loves attention. Moderately active. Fine in crate during transport and loves treats. He is already doing zoomies at his foster home's yard and is very happy. Giving his foster mom kisses. He needs basic training, dog play time/socials and daily exercise. Need experienced home with yard and another dog at home.  Kowboy is adorable!

Foster Home Update: Kowboy is a special boy who will become your best friend very quickly. He enjoys snuggling and would love to lay by your side. He can also entertain himself by tossing his toys around. He is playful but also spends time just hanging out and relaxing. He enjoys going into his crate and sleeping. He's still an adolescent, but he doesn't destroy things in the home and is very well behaved. He loves dogs and enjoys romping around with them. He is polite when meeting dogs. We don't know how would do living with a cat, but he would love and prefer to live with another dog.

He walks nicely on leash and enjoys his sniff walks in the park. He is happy to make new human friends but he isn't going to run up to you and jump on you. It will take him a few minutes before he wants to be petted. He has seen a few visitors come in to his foster home and he was a bit cautious, but he warms up. He is such a lovable dog who is easy to fall in love with.  Kowboy loves going to dog socials.  He is fine being left home alone with another dog companion. He gets a little sad if he's home all by himself for too long. He is going to make his new family very happy.
