Lilo D6672

We rescued her from a local shelter. She is a very nice dog and people friendly. Lilo had her vet care and is now relaxing at her hero foster home. She is already having fun with squeaky toys and playing fetch. Lilo is beautiful. More info. to come.

Update from foster home: She knows some basic commands - sit, paw, off. She sleeps in the kennel but not fond of it. She likes to play with squeaky toys, fetch and wants to be chased. Don’t leave your socks or shoes out though! She will grab them, lol. She’s not too bad on a leash either. She doesn’t bark at people or other dogs in passing. Pulls a little at first but settles down. She seems a little skittish of cars. She loves to give kisses and get them, very affectionate. Definitely a great dog!  Lilo needs a home with attached yard and tall fence. Probably not good with cats.  She will not chase them if they are still in the street.  She is still leary of loud noises on walks.

Lilo seems puppy like.  Today, she swallowed a sock!  Foster home rushed her to our vet to induce vomit and we got the sock out.  She also vomited a small fabric toy.  So have to be careful, no toys/sock/fabric that she can grab and may chew.  Use large KONG and toys that she cannot swallow.  Lilo need supervision not to chew various home stuff.  She also will nibble people feet for attention.
