Joey D4476

Joey and Chandler were rescued from a shelter. Both were sad and timid at the shelter. Joey was more nervous at the shelter then Chandler. They have been neglected, unhealthy and have severe flea dermatitis. Once out of the shelter, he was very friendly and sweet. Good with other dogs. He needs healthy food, basic home training and TLC. Chandler and Joey are already separated into two different foster homes. More info. to come from his Foster Home.

Update from Foster Home: Joey is a good boy! He has a calm and quiet nature. He is content both indoors and out and he loves to go for walks. He bonded quickly with foster mom and seems happiest when by her side. He has been sleeping in his crate at night and he makes the cutest little noises while sleeping...so endearing! He is comfortable at his foster home with another dog. Needs time to warm up to strangers. He is sensitive and need quiet routine with dog experienced adults. Need home with attached yard. No apartments.

His skin is cleared now and he looks much better.   He needs time to meet new people.  Is fearful at first and then warms up.  Adult home.  Maybe kids 16 yrs and up.

9/16/20:  Vet confirmed at time of neuter exam, no dental extraction needed for worn lower bottom teeth.

**Note: Adoption in SF Bay Area Only**
