Shelter staff named me CHEECH.
I am a neutered male, brown and black Chihuahua - Smooth Coated and Dachshund.
The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 6 months old.
I have been at the shelter since Apr 12, 2012.
Hi, I'm Cheech and I'm a sweet guy who is hoping that I will have a new family to call my own soon. I walk nicely on a leash and when I get into the play yard, I first just explore quietly to see what the situation is and then I start running around and having a good time. I am very gentle and pretty mellow overall. I enjoy petting and love to be with people. I am not that big on lap sitting though and will probably try to get off if you want to hold me for a while. But affection and love is wonderful in my book. The volunteers think that I might be housebroken because I keep my kennel clean and when I get to go out, I do my "business" right away. So, if all this sounds good to you, please come and spend some time with me. Hopefully you will want to take me home with you.
