JR was rescued on 3/5/10 from a crowded shelter. He was scared in his cage of all the barking noises and environment. He will back up and huddle down in the back of the cage. He was afraid to walk on a leash, but once he's out of the noisy area, and within a few minutes, he relaxed and cuddled on my lap for security. Within half hour of walking around with another dog, he was much happier and relaxed...and started to play with the other dog. He is timid of new people and places so he needs slow approach while on leash for introductions. Once he knows you, he relaxes.
Good with other small dogs. Nervous of big dogs. Good with cats at vet's office. Once comfortable, he is happy and snuggly... follows me around. We need to give him more time to feel safe. Adorable. Experienced Adult home only. More info. to come as we learn about him at his foster home.
